ABOUT US

Silicon Andhra, which has been a torchbearer of Indian culture and tradition within the country and the US for over 23 years, is continuing its stellar effort to inculcate a similar reverence for our roots among the future generation as well.

Tallapaka Annamacharya, often hailed as the first Telugu vaggeyakara was born in India nearly 600 years ago, having written, sung and composed over 32000 kirtanas on Lord Venkateswara.

The organisation recently created history by organising a special ‘laksha galacharna’ where over 1,60,000 singers gathered to render Annamacharya kirtanas in India. In addition, as part of ‘Akhanda Sahasra Sankeertanarchana’, 1008 kirtanas of the poet were performed by scores of artistes.

Now, for the first time in Dallas, Silicon Andhra is set to host a grand event to propagate the glory of Annamacharya, where over 7000 singers will render seven kirtanas of the vaggeyakara on the same stage.

We extend this opportunity to all music and culture enthusiasts to join our endeavor and offer their humble musical tribute to the Lord of Seven Hills
