Guidelines for Dance Competition – not used

CATEGORIES:

*Age considered as of regional competition day.

• Sub Juniors: Ages 6 – 9 years
• Juniors: Ages 10 – 14 years
• Seniors: Ages 15 – 19 years
• Adults: Ages 20 and above

GUIDELINES:

• Only Annamacharya Keerthanas in Carnatic Classical style are allowed. Movie tunes will not be entertained.
• The competition is an individual event. Group participation is not allowed.
• Participant can choose any “annamayya” keerthana.
• Participants should perform in the classical dance attire.
• Participants will get 8 minutes max.
• Track upload instructions will be sent out in a separate email.
• Participants may be asked to stop if the max. allotted time is exceeded and/or marks may be deducted.
• Judges decision is FINAL for all competitions.
